Saddled With Other Peoples Limitations
I have a girl in Texas I think the world of .I told her quite a while back that I felt with her by my side we could conquer the world,because with her I find my mind and spirit attaining a higher plane of conciousness,with no limitations.
On the flip side of this is the opposite result,you have to be careful with.
Back when I started selling Real Estate,I began not selling houses like most people , but selling farms. Agricultural land was selling for around Three Thousand dollars an acre at that time in that place ,So a two hundred fifty acre farm would bring roughly $750,000. Dollars and at a 10% commission you were looking at $75,000 .I Was comfortable with these numbers and didn’t really think about it when one day a girl remarked that she had always sold residential, and couldn’t even fathom the big numbers that I dealt with every day. She had set limitations on herself.
A lot of people in sales make just about the same amount every year because they have set limitations in their mind . I made eighty thousand a year for three years in a row, and didn’t realize what I was subconsciously doing,untill I sat down with my accountant one day and he asked me why. Then the light bulb came on, I had subconsciously set a comfort zone at eighty thousand and wouldn’t let myself go over it.
A good friend of mine told me to “be careful who you date, who you associate with, who you pick as friends and life partners, don’t saddle yourself with their limitations“. It is very easy to fall into other peoples limitations. Lets face it the guy in the office that is the epitome of positively is the target for all the negative losers. People want to cure you and bring you down to their comfort level where they feel you will be safe. The person you date, your spouse will bring you to their comfort level, so be careful who you date and if you are already married be aware ,and try to bring your spouse to your level and keep them on the same wave length.
When computers first entered the workplace ,some refused to accept the change and their own set ways and self limitations put them out of a job. Today Internet marketing is the present, It was the future a few years ago. Since I was raised on a farm and grew up running tracters,combines,hay balers and any other equipment I could hit a start button or turn a key in, Computers are just another piece of machinery. And like always I set out to be proficient with it . This is where internet marketing training comes in.
